- Getting from Malaga Airport
We do not offer a private transfer, but the apartment can be easily and conveniently reached in several ways: - Taxi, Bolt lub Uber
Direct transfer from the airport to the apartment costs about 40 euros (failure time approx. 25-30 minutes). - Rental of the car
There are many car rental companies at Malaga airport (e.g. Goldcar, Centauro, Europcar). This is a great option if you plan to explore the surrounding area. - Public transport
Possible, though less comfortable and time-consuming (necessary transfer in Fuengiroli).
Attractions in the neighbourhood (up to 15 min drives)
- Playa de la Cala de Mijas and Playa El Bombo – a wide, sandy e-mail with promenade, chiringuito restaurants (baray on the beach) and sun loungers rentals. Perfect for relaxation and walks at sunset.
- Paseo Mariatimo de La Cala – beautiful seaside promenade, ideal for walking, running or morning coffee with sea view.
- Golf in Miraflores and the surrounding area – we recommend in particular Miraflores Golf Club or La Cala Golf Resort. For amateurs and professionals.
- AquaMijas (Fuengirola) – a great attraction for families with children, slides, lazy river and relaxation zones.
- Bioparc Fuengirola – a modern zoo with natural catwalks, ideal for families.
- Shopping and gastronomy in Fuengiroli – e.g. in the Miramar shopping centre or at the local market. It is also worth to look at the tapas of bars.
- Marbella and Puerto Banes (30-40 min) – a luxury yacht port, boutique shops, restaurants and Mediterranean glamour climate.
- Mijas Pueblo (20 min) – a white Andalusian town with beautiful views, charming streets and the possibility of asshole rides (for children). Great place for photos.
- Ronda (1.5 h) – the famous Puente Nuevo bridge over the gorge, historical center and beautiful views. Must-see for lovers of history and nature.
- Malaga (30-40 min) – atmospheric old town, Gibralfaro Castle, Picasso Museum and city beaches. Combination of culture and relaxation.
- Caminito del Rey (about 1 h) – a spectacular walking route on suspended footbridges in the canyon. For those looking for adventure.
- Nerja and caves Cuevas de Nerja (about 1.5 h) – amazing rock formations and beautiful views of the coast.
- Culinary tours – e.g. tapas tour of Fuengiroli or Mijas Pueblo.
- Tasting of Andalusian wines – organized locally or in nearby vineyards.
- Flamenco evenings – authentic shows in Malaga, Mijas or Marbella.
- Water sports – paddleboarding, kayaks, diving – available in La Cala and the surrounding area.
